EZSlam is a system based on multiple technology platforms including sensors to measure forces, speed, trajectory, pressure and so on. The combination of all the sensors with the analysis software makes it possible for anybody to measure all characteristics in a straightforward operation. The DNA of a door is now defined, and these results can assist in the analysis of the door system.
Features
All sensors combined will allow the software to determine factors that are very close to the user perception such as Minimum Closing Energy or Minimum Closing Speed. For the analysis part, EZSlam will also report characteristics of the hinges, the angle, the friction, from the door check the system will report the force and energy profile in function of angle. The seals will be characterized by the static compression curve, the cabin pressure will have its characteristics when it comes down to the efficiency of the air evacuation and much more. All results are presented in graphical reporting or table view of all key values.
Application
EZSlam can reduce the analysis time significantly and increase the accuracy of the study. The process of comparing a good versus a bad door is reduced to comparing both DNA signatures. The signature will highlight in what area the door system is different.
