Training
To ensure that our customers gain the maximum value from EZMetrology Technologies , we offer structured training programs designed not only to teach the operation of our technologies but also to share our application expertise. Our goal is to help users move beyond simple data collection and confidently apply the technology to optimize their measurement processes and testing strategies.
Beyond Training, Application Expertise, our training programs consist of two complementary dimensions:
Technology Training
Learning how to operate EZMetrology technologies such as EZSlam, Pods systems, SealScan, and EZ3D…
Application Expertise
Sharing our extensive experience in measurement and testing applications. We guide users on how to adapt the technology to their specific needs, optimize their testing procedures, and extract meaningful insights from the data.
Our approach cares and ensures that our customers gain not only technical knowledge but also the practical expertise needed to fully integrate the technology into their development and validation processes.
For our customer convenience, training and workshops can be delivered remotely or on-site*.
EZSlam, EZ3D and SealScan Training
Training for these advanced measurement systems is typically organized in two stages to ensure effective learning and real-world application.
This training format is ideal for groups of 1 to 4 participants, ensuring a highly interactive and hands-on experience.
Pods Pro Workshops
For SpeedPod, EnergyPod and ForcePod Pro systems, we offer a series of specialized workshops designed to provide a thorough understanding of the technology and its capabilities.
Participants learn through a combination of technical presentations, guided explanations, and hands-on exercises, covering configuration, operation, and the full range of available functionalities.
Workshops are optimized for groups of up to 5 users.
Module Workshops for Pods Systems
For teams looking to expand their knowledge of specific modules, we offer focused workshops:
IOManager Training
A dedicated 3-day training course introduces users to the operation and full functionality of IOManager, including:
Installation
EZMetrology systems are designed to integrate seamlessly into advanced testing and production environments.
Our deployment or installation process ensure that every installation is properly configured, fully documented, and optimized for long-term reliability.
Each installation is performed following a structured methodology, the integration* that combines system setup, network integration, and application configuration to ensure immediate operational readiness.
Installation & System Integration
During the installation phase, our specialists prepare and perform the following steps:
This process ensures that the system is properly connected to the production or testing environment and ready for reliable data acquisition.
Pre-Installation Preparation
To guarantee a smooth installation, EZMetrology provides customers with a pre-installation checklist ahead of the deployment.
This preparation step ensures that all necessary technical information, system parameters, and network requirements are confirmed in advance, allowing the installation team to complete the process efficiently during the on-site visit.
PLS Configuration & Application Setup
Each installation includes detailed configuration of the Software parameters to match the customer’s specific measurement requirements. Those are set during Integration* phase.
The configuration is carefully documented to support future maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
Typical configuration elements include:
System Identification & Traceability
To ensure long-term system traceability, each workstation and computer ID provided by the customer is linked to its corresponding PLS software & station location.
All configuration files and license documentation are securely archived by the EZMetrology production team within the customer’s project record, ensuring easy access for future system updates or support.
Built for Long-Term Performance
By combining technical deployment, configuration expertise, and structured documentation, EZMetrology ensures that every system installation delivers immediate value while remaining scalable, maintainable, and fully aligned with the customer’s testing processes.
Integration
Integration
Modern manufacturing environments rely on connected systems where measurement data flows seamlessly between production equipment, quality systems, and digital manufacturing platforms.
EZMetrology technologies are designed to operate within this smart factory ecosystem, enabling reliable communication between measurement systems, automation infrastructure, and data management platforms.
Our solutions allow measurement results to become an active part of the production process rather than isolated test data.
Collaborative Integration Process
Every production environment is different. For this reason, integration is performed in close collaboration with the customer’s automation engineers.
Our team works with the customer to:
This collaborative approach ensures that EZMetrology systems integrate smoothly into existing automation environments without disrupting production processes.
Traceability & Data Integration
Measurement data generated by EZMetrology systems can be linked directly to vehicle identification numbers (VIN) or other production identifiers.
This enables manufacturers to:
Flexible Integration with Automation Teams
Every production line has unique requirements. EZMetrology works closely with the customer’s automation engineers, PLC programmers, and IT teams to define the appropriate communication architecture and ensure reliable integration.
Our specialists assist with:
This collaborative process ensures that EZMetrology systems integrate smoothly into complex production environments.
Supporting Digital Manufacturing
By enabling measurement systems to communicate directly with production infrastructure, EZMetrology technologies help manufacturers build connected quality systems where measurement data supports smarter decision-making and improved production efficiency.
Production Line Integration
In many installations, EZMetrology systems interact directly with PLC-controlled production lines.
This communication enables the measurement system to automatically start tests, process results, and return validated measurement data to the production environment.
A typical integration workflow includes:
This automated exchange allows measurement data to be directly integrated into the production control system.
Industrial Communication Protocols
EZMetrology systems can interface with common industrial communication technologies, including:
These communication methods allow the EZMetrology software running on a Windows workstation to exchange data with automation systems in a secure and structured manner.
Typical data exchanges include:
These values can then be used by the production system for:
Designed for Industrial Environments
By supporting standard industrial communication protocols and working closely with plant automation teams, EZMetrology systems can be deployed reliably within complex manufacturing environments such as those used by major automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
EZMetrology SPC Program
Our SPC Program is designed to ensure the long-term reliability and performance of EZMetrology systems after the initial warranty period. Rather than a simple warranty extension, SPC is a structured after-sales continuity program that protects the customer’s investment and ensures uninterrupted operation of their equipment.
It provides ongoing access to technical expertise, software and firmware updates, and repair coverage for critical components such as sensors, PCBs, and internal electronics.
A key advantage of the SPC Program is the financial and operational predictability it provides.
When a device is covered under SPC, labor for repairs and troubleshooting is fully included, significantly reducing the risk of unexpected service costs.
With direct engineering support, unlimited software updates, and access to the EZMetrology Academy resources, customers can maintain optimal performance and remain aligned with the latest developments of the system.
Without SPC coverage, an engineering assessment is required before any repair can begin, which typically involves specialized labor in addition to repair costs. For this reason, SPC should be presented not as an additional expense, but as a risk-mitigation and continuity solution that protects productivity, ensures access to expert support, and safeguards the customer’s capital investment.
